Had a visitor.........
This week I had a visit from AlexS.
A couple of very pleasant hours were spent in the shed yacking & looking at timber & things. It's amazing how quickly the time slips by when talking with somebody who shares a common interest!!!
Alex mentioned that everybody he had met through the forums had been a pleasurable experience.
It made me think back to all the people that I've met through the forums & he is absolutely correct. There hasn't been one person that I've met that I'd not invite to my place.
So you bunch of reprobates, if ya coming to BrisVagas contact me or one of the SE QLD members & I'm sure we'll be able to do something
PS. Thanks for putting in the effort of visiting us Alex!!

Thanks for your hospitality Major, Midge & Mrs Midge, & good to meet you BoatingMick. It's great to catch up with people whom you've only ever met on the forums, & find that they are as friendly in real life as in cyberspace. Even Zed is almost human (Sorry if I've destroyed your reputation mate).
I've had the good fortune to meet quite a few from the forums, and without exception they have been great people.
There's nothing like catching up with a few other woodworkers & seeing their work to bring you down to earth regarding your own abilities, though. I'm amazed at the work I saw at MP & BM's, great stuff.
