    Default Mr vs hmr

In terms of white melamine-faced particleboard, is there any difference between MR and HMR, or is it just a marketing thing?

    Cheers

M\R is moister resistant, HMR is high moister resistant and is used in vanity and kitchen cabinets where humidity and moister are constantly present, fairly easy to identify HMR, it has a green pigment/tinge in the body of the fibres. A far superior material to work with, relatively stable. The MR is used in really cheap furniture and not worth the trouble to work with, the fibres in the body or the sheets is a lot courser than HMR
The person who never made a mistake never made anything
