    Makes good sense to me.

What bothers me about these sheds is the strength of the walls. I like to be able to mount cabinets and timber off walls.....and grinders, but cause their so light the grinder vibrates the whole shed. So thinking pouring cement right in there lock up the walls nicely.

And I've noticed water comes up a bit under the wall iron when it rains, causing a bit of trouble.

    Thanks for the confirmation Jake.

I think some shed builders might loudly and confidently in a tradesman practical sort of tone suggest methods that are more convenient for the builder but may be a pain in the ????? for the shed user for years and years.

Vibrating is it Jake, stuff a heap of insulation in the trouble spot!

My new shed got delivered today, 1st filling is done leveled ready for the 100mm of road base on Wednesday, the site ended up 400mm down at the lowest end. Lucky I had a training track full of crusher/shell grit... well 100m of it is missing

I look forward to your photos Harry.

Like all projects, they seem to start off quickly and then go really slow but accelerate towards the finish line.

ta, I don't think insulation make that much a difference Harry...

Like to see your new shed being built too. Are you gonna put the cement down after the sheds built like WB ?

Why not tack a wooden batten down with sealer under batten to your inner boundary area and back seal the batten at the same time. Could work?

Around these parts you'll get strange looks if you said slab first... must be a city thing

I'm on my 4th shed and have always poured the slab after erecting the shed, I've only seen a shed built on a slab once.

In the UK they pour the slab first on unstable ground. (house building that is)

ta. probably would work. Can't really do it now though. The inside walls are up. no matter.
