Old weather board and old nails
Hi I'm new to this sort thing. I have been sanding back our old weatherboard home and a lot of the steel nails a popping out and loose. I don't want to pull them all out and replace with thicker nails as it might split the old boards. Can I put liquid nails in the hole to use as a putty to stop them popping back out?

I’d say the nails are loose and popping out because they have rusted away over time and now have a thin body/shank.
If it were me, I’d be renailing. If you are afraid of the weatherboards splitting, drill the weatherboard before nailing. Make the drill hole slightly smaller that the nail shank.
just plugging the hole is not going to hold the weatherboard in place.
Re the location “Galore”. I once worked on a property near Nyngan called Galore.
