Weber BBQ cabinet design required
Hello, I bought a portable Weber BBQ for Xmas ( in attached photo below) , and now need to make a rolling cabinet that it will fit on. The cabinet will have 2 shallow drawers for the BBQ utensils and the cast iron plates , and a compartment for a small gas bottle, and hopefully it will have some fold-down outrigger tables ( see attached image) or sliding trays to hold the food.
Has anyone come across a suitable design with any of the above features?
The main problems are keeping the cabinet size to a minimum, and getting the gas bottle flexible pipe into the cabinet without interfering with the sliding trays or fold-down outrigger tablesregards,

I would be keeping the gas bottle on the outside of the cabinet. They are not supposed to be kept in an enclosure. The exception is mobile homes and then the enclosure vents to the outside.

Parially enclosed gas bottle is doable, but the compartment needs to be well ventilated, particularly downward as gas is heavier than air and will sink to ground level.
You would be OK using slats with 10mm gaps for the bottom of the bottle compartment and the two sides. This would allow a solid back and front access door to match the rest of the front and back panels for drawers, slides etc. The side extensions would be away from the sides by a small amount 25mm + to allow air circulation to the bottle compartment.
Re hose and drawers, allow extra depth in the carcase so that the hose can fit between the drawer backs and the carcase back. It might be better to make a sealed compartment for the drawers etc to limit insect access as much as possible.
For a top, I would suggest ceramic tiles etc as being easiest to clean and least prone to fat penetration. Install a tile underlay substrate and glue them to that then grout.
Rest would be a custom design to suit the BBQ, gas connection, storage required etc.
