    Smile What to make ?

    Hey! I am new to the forums and shortly i will be starting my one year journey to the HSC. The reason why i made this thread is because i'm unsure what i should make for HSC woodwork, i would like to keep the same style legs i designed and i would like the project to have some draws as i wish to try a double dovetail by hand, if you have any suggestions that could incorporate these two parts i would appreciate it
    P.S i will design the plans myself once i figure out what ill make.

    Welcome to the forums! Here is a dump of a few ideas:

    • Pair of bedside tables
    • Side table to sit near a couch
    • Hall table with a draw
    • TV stand/cabinet/console
    • A series of sculptured hat stands or tall lamps
    • Bar stool


    That should hopefully get the thinking started at least.

    A hall table with drawers would suit your leg style. Watch your proportions, as this is often the difference between a good looking table and an average one. Are you familiar with the Golden Mean? If not, Google it. It should help.

    Thank you for your input it helps a lot.A hall table looks like the winner so far. The bedside tables would be good but that is what i made last term (ill post pictures when the top is finished)
