Hmm flash back to some past threads ..... Donald Trump with a laser guide, where could we point him.
My faves are my tools I have of my Great Great Grandfather (near a full set). They are around 150 - 170 years old, I just love using them. The big square is deadly accurate and I use it at every chance. Just a couple in this pic
Of my new tools, LN No7 jointer, LN block planes, LV low angle smoother, Bad Axe 16" tenon saw, bla bla, I love all my tools.
Powered, Hafco 15" thicknesser, Makita belt sander, an awsome machine that just keeps taking punishment, Makita drop saw etc etc
Most used, my pocket knife.

Claw,
I do believe I have the mitre square to match your great grandfathers tools on my wall, along with an identical bevel. Good old tools they are too!

Hi Andrew
Beautiful old tools with experience. A big mitre square would be handy, must check the markets again.

Very nice Ian! Thanks for the pic
Is that a Michael Connor ramped shooting board, or one that you have made?

My Colen Clenton square is always lying on my bench ready for use and my little mechanical marking pencil is fantastic for accurate marking out. Also the Benchdog feather boards have been invaluable on my router table fence.
For powered, my makita router has seen years of abuse without fault, as has the big triton under my router table.
Steven.

Unpowered? probably my turning tools. Powered? I enjoy using the bandsaw and scroll saw and my spray gun.
Reality is no background music.
Cheers John

Unpowered:
1. Have to agree with "Yowie" and "Underfoot": Calipers - in my case a set of dial calipers by Mitutoyo purchased in 1976 (unbelievably expensive in those days).
2. Bahco Splitting axe
Powered:
1. Hitachi M12V Router under a home made bench. (Thank you: Dial calipers)
2. Homemade panel slicer using a rather cheap ($25) GMC 7 1/4" circular saw with a much better blade. Still deadly accurate after 5yrs use. Again: (Thank you: Dial calpiers)

I also have a set of Mitutoyo calipers, nice. But my favourite tools are made by Chris Vesper; the small double square and the sliding bevel live on the bench.
