Default wich wood for drop saw stand frame

    Good day all,
I have a question .... can I use a Pine wood (easy available and cost effective) to build a frame for a drop saw movable bench ? or I need hard wood and if yes which one ?
I know it is a silly question but It is my first project and I am sick to have a mess in the garage ..........
    Cheers
    Matteo

I have saw stalls made in 1989, they have spent almost all their life out in the elements and are currently holding one end of a heavy steel ute canopy / tool box off the ground.

As they said pine is fine or whatever wood you can get at the right price. Plywood, MDF, and particle board will also do provided the design is right and dampness is not a problem.
