Wood Borers
We have a kitchen dresser that has borers in it, have tried many theories how to get rid of them, none successfully.
Does anyone know how to get rid of them

G'day.
Get a cheap blue tarp from SupaCheap or Bunnies and wrap it around the cupboard. Lift one corner and set off a Roach Bomb under the tarp.
Leave it sealed for 24 hours. After that check to see if there is any more borer activity.
Has worked for me.Hooroo.

I usually soak yhe timber in turps as that kills the eggs as well as the insects,
Though Spider bombs have a residual effect so the Roach bombs probably do too.
hmm, I might go delouse a couple of pretty stumps that I have hanging around
