Question Wood Galleries or other woodie places worth seeing in NZ?

I will be travelling to NZ (driving all around both islands) soon. Does anyone have any must-see woodwork related sights whilst I am over there?

ie woodwork galleries, or anything else that interests woodies?

I'd hate to get back to AUS and have someone say "whilst you were over there you should have stopped in at...."

Don't know if it's still around, but in Ashburton -- Bob Lynn Historical Woodworking Trust (inc.) Museum
    Peter McBride's write up http://www.petermcbride.com/lynn/

We stumbled across it around 2002 or '03 -- basicaly we saw a AA road sign and followed it

was a very interesting place to visit -- even with a kid under 5

Russell in the Bay of Islands had a very nice gallery

also in the Bay of Islands area is a very interesting place with lots of mid 19th century tools and hardware -- I just can't recall it's name
maybe it was the Kerikeri Stone Store

Further on from Bay of Isl is Kaitia (sp?) its on the other coast but only a short drive... theres never any distance in NZ
there is a huge Kauri workshop/showroom the stairs to 2nd story are carved into a Kauri tree. Prices are reasonable and Aussie customs have never been a problem for us, provided you keep the receipt.

There is also a place around Westport South island
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds
