    Default what wood for jigsaw's (kids toy jigsaw's)

    My partner has told me i have too make some jigsaw's for our daughter now .in some books i have recommends hard woods but with these being on the hard side i would like too use some other wood.can any one tell me if using MDF is ok it will be painted with child friendly paint of course.we have had jigsaw's bought for us and one of them seems to be made of MDF can any one help
