    Default Woodfast combination planer/thicknesser PT310

    Hi All
I notice that Carbatec has the 12" Woodfast combination planer/thicknesser on sale (PT310). Has anyone seen this machine or used it and can provide an idea of quality etc for the price (approx $1800 from Carbatec) but $1600 direct.

    Thanks

I don't know anything about the machine but what a difference in price and less freight for you as well.

The cheaper chinese imports are all much of a muchness, from the price it sounds like a reasonable solution. I purchased the Sherwood 12 in combination machine with morticer. Being that all the wood I use is recycled it is the most used machine in my shed. Great machine for a weekender don't think they would be good in a professional shop.

Being rather new at this I had a great deal of difficulty setting the tables and the blades, so I had the local saw doctor who also mills local timbers come around and help me set it up. I fell in love with it all over again.

    Good luck with your purchase
