thank you for sharing.

The part I liked the best was the helical head cutting at around 4 minutes - mainly 'coz I have one

Yeah the silent power thicknesser head was interesting. It was clear that the shavings were being ejected to the left of screen. It would be better to design the dust shroud accordingly to favour collection at that side. I know on my JET combo when used as a jointer, I get a lot of shavings on the thicknesser table below under the fence. My dust collection
sucksdoesn't suck, but it explains why they always collect on that one side even when jointing 300mm wide boards.

I also think the music plays a little part on the video that makes it more interesting to watch.

Somebody needs to make The executives at Gibson Guitars watch this video to understand how to do a marketing video... Notice every part is highly polished... Every single tooth perfect... Not a scratch, ding, grease spot, or fingerprint on the tools.. The videos are carefully shot and produced to give the impression of power and precision - a tool you would be proud to own...
Unlike slathering the website of your own billion dollar company with broken guitars - and then letting the haters have a field day for over a month before fixing the pix...

Yeah, the Gibson thing, they should get hammered over what they are doing. Madness.
On the video, it is great to watch.
I always assumed that the blades were "cutting" the material and you would see the action of a million little plane blades with nice little scallops... but it is clear that the action is more like grinding. The bits taken off are literally torn out in the tiniest little chunks with the tiniest fibres and particles clearly evident. No wonder BobL has a breakdown about dust!!!!
The helical head at the 4:00 mark is HYPNOTIC!!!!!

Why would I post this in the General Woodwork Forum when it's not about woodwork?
