Not to buy, but check your local library. Ours has recently got about 6 Taunton DVDs or various woodworking topics.

I have purchased the Table saw and Jointer / Thicknesser DVDs from Passion for Wood - Instructional Woodworking DVDs Available

I have found them very interesting and good value. When you order he dispatches within a very short space of time and they arrive within about 10 days if memory serves. The table saw one is 6 hours and even includes detailed instructions for making a sled as well.

This guy is canadian and has guest spots on Matt's Basement Workshop. He also has recommendations from the wood whisperer which is where i first came across the site.

    Cheers
    Jason
