Woodworkers in Europe - Any connections?
Hi everyone,
LOML and I are moving to Europe for the next 12 months. A bit of a holiday and a bit of work and a bit of whatever. I am wanting to do some woodworking training, work, helping out whilst I was over there.
Our schedule and locations are flexible, so am happy to move around as appropriate.
Any tips, ideas, or contacts people can send my way? Would be more than happy to just spend some time in someone's workshop helping them build, learning what I can. Am not expecting pay (although I do have the legal right to work in the EU).
I'm especially interested in anywhere that is not necessarily the UK. I've contacted David Savage and am trying to work out a time I can join in on his classes there which should be great.
Cheers,

Forum member Claude Arragon (La truciolara) has a woodturning school in Verona Italy, if round things strike your fancy.

Thanks for that Joe. Will definitely drop Claude a note.
Any other thoughts, or idea on how to find Euro furniture makers?
Thanks.___________________________________________________________

Here is a link to our UK Woodworkers Institute.
No I understand that you are looking for places outside of the UK but you may find a few Europeans using our sites.
Alternatively you can search for their forums and see what's on offer. Google does a fairly reasonable job of translating website if you don't speak the various languages.Dragonfly
