Woodworking Shows
I would just like to draw your attention to the start of the woodworking shows throughout Australia for 2003. Brisbane is first off the ranks in May with Sydney to follow in June. I have managed to secure some promotion from TIMBECON here in Perth to attend at least some of the shows and I will be demonstrating the use of the template guides. I hope to see you there as I have new routing techniques to bring and display.

Tom, you've changed user names?
So are you going to be at the Brisi show this year? I missed ya last year, mind you I ain't even sure I will be in town for the show this year. See what happens, anyway, hope it all goes well for you!
Cheers

Perth Woodwork Show.
I recently saw an announcement that the Perth show is to be the 15th, 16th and 17th August this year. Is that correct?
If so, it works for me and I will head to Perth for that weekend. I have a stack of frequent flyer points (altitude points, these days) and will use some to fly the trip.
Have never been to a woodwork show so I would appreciate any advice or comment as to what to look for in particular.

Yes I was given the name by my friend Dusty from America
I will be at the show. There were a number of routing enthusiasts missed me last year because of my location at the show but I have been assured that I will have exposure this year. Hope to see you all there as I have some more new routing techniques to show.Learn new Routing skills with the use of the template guides

The time spent talking to the demonstrators can only bode well in your understanding of tools/techniques that you may well be unfamiliar with.
It is also an opportunity to try out some of the tools in the event you're looking to purchase and what better than with the manufacturers representatives.
Because it is a full on day spent there, pace yourself so that you don't miss the things you wanted to see/do there.
Hope to see you there perhaps, and will catch up with Tom.
CheersJohnno
