Hi There,
I am looking for a recommendation on service providers who can help me with assembling the woodworking equipment ( Planner/thickener combo, bandsaw & Table saw).
Location: Brisbane.

Maybe you could give us a bit more info. Are you buying new equipment that will be delivered in boxes or crates? I would go to the nearest men's shed and hopefully you may find an experienced person there that could help you. By doing this, you may learn the idiosyncrasies of each of your machines so you can maintain and adjust them when required.
Rgds,
Crocy.

Most companies have a assembly service at a moderate extra cost, usually only basic assembly is required, doing yourself can be a valuable exercise especially when the time comes to repair.

Depending on the equipment, most handymen on Gumtree should be able to assemble it especially if it comes with instructions. Even without instructions, an experienced handyman should be able to work it out. It may take longer, but it should be doable. I've assembled all of my WW equipment (cyclone DE, tablesaw, bandsaw, jointer/thicknesser, pedestal drill, etc) and most of it by myself. The only thing I needed help with was standing up the DE because it was so heavy and awkward.
