Woodworking Instructional Videos
Hello all,
I happened to stumble upon this BB and find it a fabulous resource.
I live in Jindabyne a couple of hours south of Canberra and am new to woodwork though I am getting quite a buzz learning about it. I am in the process of building a workbench which is coming along ok though if I lived closer to a capital city I would take a join a woodworking class. I have bought several books which are fine though I would like to move on a bit from that medium.
Are there some instructional videos available in Oz or US? I would like to reference my learning curve with some visuals and would really appreciate any advice on where I these may be available from.
Regards,
AngAng

G'day Angelo
Taunton Press (Fine Woodworker Magazine USA) has a number of excellent vidios on everything from basic joints, to finishing, along with turning, carving, use of routers, machinery and lots more. Many libraries have them on the shelves. However there is usually a long waiting list.
They are also available for sale from places like Southern Woodturning Supplies in Fyshwick ACT, Carba-Tec, Woodworks Book & Tool Supplies, and some book sellers.
They are an excellent resource, but nothing beats a hands on class.
Cheers
