I'd think unlikely.
Some will feel jealous that you're having fun and they're not
others will shrug and ignore it
Even though i'm well within my right to make noise, whenever I go in the garage, I think twice now about turning a power tool on. I simply feel guilty about it.
besides, in time you'll come to really love your hand toolsregards from Alberta, Canada

I think Ian is absolutely right, Groeneaj; That is why I suggested that you talk to all your neighbours.
If your complainant is a perpetual whinger, you might find that they are also off at his constant complaints, .... and you have forty allies. We had neighbours up to a block away comment on how obnoxious "God Save the Queen" becomes after a couple of hours, but thanking us for its effectiveness in silencing the noisy so-and-so.
On the other hand, some of them may agree that you are a noisy b***** sometimes; so there is the hint to watch your powertool use timing and to use handtools when necessary.
Merry Christmas

I really think talking about the issue with your neighbours before declaring war on them is the better option. Do you really want the people living around you to be permanently hostile toward you?
But that 'God Save the Queen' story reminds me of one related to me a few years ago about a pub in Kalgoorlie that had terrible trouble in getting the patrons (hard-working, hard-living, hard-drinking miners in the main) to leave and go home at closing time. Nothing seemed to work and every request, demand or urging was likely to end in aggression and physical confrontation. The publican eventually had a light-bulb moment and ensured that at stumps the volume on the pub's loundpeakers was cranked up to maximum while playing children's nursury rhymes ('Three Blind Mice' etc). Absolutely no problem in getting the punters to leave on time thereafter...
