    Default Woodworking in Townsville

    Hey,

    I'm moving to sunny Townsville at the end of January. It's only for a year so im not moving all my stuff up there.
    I'm looking to do a course, or join a club up there. Can anyone give me some more information or put me in contact with anyone.

    What sort of woodworking?

    When I lived there I did a woodturning course & a furniture restoration course at TAFE at night. (Around '92 -'93)

    There is a woodturning club & I think they have a club house in Gill Park,
    LOT 121 Grosvenor St, Gulliver QLD 4812 (I think)

    I'm looking for furniture making courses/clubs but also happy to learn turning, carving (anything really).
