Yes I looked at the lay out....you've got lots of little blue men in that shop!

Suggestion No 1 ....move it to 5 Watson Avenue...MANDURAH....

...second thoughts.... I have all that...just need bigger wood supply....& a new Festo sander....PLEASE?

...& hey, its not always viable/possible for others to comment on plans....unless you see the actually space .....ie

....where are all the power points
....windows for lighting
....doors & which way the breeze comes in
....which window your going to put the airconditioner in
....if you've got RSJ's to hang the overhead dust extractor on
...where's the "make it your self" coffee machine going
.....which drop saw are you going to have for the over 2 meters wood
....where the roller doors are, for when you're using the blower vac...
...etc

...but the most important thing is to plan it how YOU want it....and of course... change it.... if & when you want!!!!

My only worry was what day my neightbour does her washing as her clothes line is directly out side one of my roller doors....and I can't blower vac the dust out....on a saturday afternoon....I feel that's only fair! lol

But...if you have a Festo sander ES150 .....I will gladly take that off your hands...& pay the postage...Oh be sure you will get a nice bottle of scotch with that too!

Yes I did .
Looks like everything is down one end ,but maybe you have other plans for the space.
I see there are two thicknessers but no jointer .

I would have the table saw ,jointer and thicknesser in "close" proximity to each other ,ideally the timber will start on the table saw ,move to the jointer and then to the thicknesser.Sort of like a natural flow
But that would depend on if you are using rough sawn timber and what type of wood work you intend to do.



Just my ideas , Every thing else looks ok .

Edit ops , you have a jointer on your list but didn't show it on the layout

Layout looks pretty good to me. But without knowing the type of stuff you are making its a little difficult. If its furniture then I wonder if a little more floor space around the benches for assembling larger items might be useful. With having all the benches in the one area will there be a problem with people getting in each others way ie using the same route to the most used machines etc.
Would also love to know what software that layout was done on as I also have a workshop move on the horizon.

P.S The wide belt sander could be rotated so if you ever did need to put something longer than 2 meters through it, you could.
