    Default Workshop of Patrick Edwards

Californian hand tool woodworker Patrick Edwards has just had his workshop feature in a video from Fine Woodworking Magazine.
    • The front room of his house is his show room - rather large, and over-furnished
    • Through double doors in his front room and you are in his workshop - also largish
    • Based almost totally on hand tools
    • Buys users rather than collectors
    • Prefers pre-1900 steel as easier to sharpen
    • 800+ wooden planes
    • 1 steel plane - doesn't like screw adjusters
    • 800+ chisels and gouges
    • 500+ .......

I think it is worth watching.

I should have said "handsaws." I saw a large crosscut (logging), a mitre saw set up in a mitre box and quite a few bowsaws hung up high. Handsaws?

    I was surprised: Just sayin'.
