Workshop of Patrick Edwards
Californian hand tool woodworker Patrick Edwards has just had his workshop feature in a video from Fine Woodworking Magazine.
- The front room of his house is his show room - rather large, and over-furnished
- Through double doors in his front room and you are in his workshop - also largish
- Based almost totally on hand tools
- Buys users rather than collectors
- Prefers pre-1900 steel as easier to sharpen
- 800+ wooden planes
- 1 steel plane - doesn't like screw adjusters
- 800+ chisels and gouges
- 500+ .......
Shop Tour: Patrick Edwards - FineWoodworking
I think it is worth watching.

I should have said "handsaws." I saw a large crosscut (logging), a mitre saw set up in a mitre box and quite a few bowsaws hung up high. Handsaws?
I was surprised: Just sayin'.
