    I've used a couple of the electronic type doohickeys like Major's. From my experience they aren't 100% effective, but they make a huge difference. I'm pretty sceptical about all these things, but I'm glad that the mouseseses aren't

    G'day PTC,

    This is the spiel from the Jaycar web site;

    High Power Ultrasonic Pest Repeller

    This Ultrasonic Pest Repeller uses frequency shifting techniques which may prevent pests from developing an immunity. The device has an output of 140dB that can protect up to 3000 square feet. The repeller may be effective against mice, rats, roaches, fleas, flies, crickets, silverfish, waterbugs, moths, ants, spiders and most other common pests. The ultrasonic frequencies used are out of the hearing range of humans and most household pets such as cats, dogs, fish & birds etc. A test feature down shifts the frequency output to an audible range. We make no guarantees that this device will solve your particular problem, but there are thousands of people who swear by them.
    - Supplied with mains plug pack and installation guide.
    - 120mm dia x 75mm high.

    By the sound of it, it won't affect the birdies for ya. I've found a few blasts with a 12G using #6 shot works wonders!!

    Apparently they snuck in with imported containerized goods from India & Asia. They are larger than the native geckos & have decimated the local population! :mad:

    Love The Who, but Boris was named cause he sort of looks like a Boris, and scared my daughter, Boris is scary. Like B Karloff.

    On the credit side are the band's gigs for the week, a couple hundred pounds for concerts at the Marquee Club and other venues in and around London. On the debit side are several hundred pounds of expenses for new guitars, microphones and drum kits, new clothes for guitarist Pete Townshend, repairs to vocalist Roger Daltrey's car, and nightlife money for drummer Keith Moon.

    And, at the bottom, is a debit for 1 pound, 17 shillings, 6 pence for bassist John Entwistle's luncheon vouchers.

    My German is atrocious but sturm und drang is something like 'penetrating storm'

    What the author meant who knows? Maybe Thunderstorm? Lots of noise anyway
