    Default My workshop tour!

    Hi Everyone,

After some questions about my workshop I decided to make a tour around my shop!

I hope you find it interesting!

    Best regards,

    Dennis

This looks great! If only my shop had half of that equipment...

If I can my workshop 1/10th as shiny as yours...I'd be living the dream. If I put up pics of mine, currently, you may go in to cardiac arrest.

Hey Dennis, very nice setup, would be good to see some furniture projects in the future.

This was my latest one. But it is hard to make a project and film it when you have to do it alone! You have to think about the project, think about the video, shots, think about the creativity when you have to edit it later.

Thanks all for your comments! I really appreciate it!

I have watched both clips that you have shown in this thread a couple of days apart, they really are excellent. The "Flower Pot Stand" film clip, is a wonderful tutorial of how things can be done.

I need to listen with headphones. Firstly, so that the rest of the household isn't bombarded with my stuff. Secondly, because I am quite hard of hearing these days and need it to be turned up. Your background music is relatively loud, which in itself is not an issue as you blank or lower the sound when you speak. However, if I have the background music at a normal level, I find that when you speak I have difficulty hearing you. The answer for me is to have the background music at a level that is slightly uncomfortable, this then allows me to hear what you are saying.

Your titled descriptions are very good and concise, but, if you could hold them on the screen for a little longer, it would be easier to take in what you are presenting in written form on the screen. An alternative could be to freeze the picture, blur it, then have your written words as the only subject so one can read it properly without losing the so important moving picture content. I can either read the text, or watch the action, not both. My solution was to backtrack then freeze the clip so I could read the text properly, which to be honest, isn't hard to do.

Considering you do this entirely by yourself, the imagery is outstanding; as is your work.

    Just some of my thoughts.

    Mick.
