Wanting Small Workspace Area - Sydney
Howdy All,
I have a love for all things woodworking, and recently have bought a fair few Triton Tools etc.
I live in a unit block so its hard to really get out there as much as I want to cut up timber, make things and learn. Pretty much limited to a few hours on saturday n sunday.
I want a small workspace in a light industrial area or something. Something big enough to swing a cat...
Are there any other folk out there that wants the same thing, a place to be able to turn on the power tools when ever you want etc.

I would like the same thing too. Don't you hate it when the neighbors complain about power tool noise.

yer its a pain you know where when you can't get down to ya woodwork when you want.
I'm so keen to try n find a small area suitable and possibly find a fellow member who is willing to go 1/2s in the cost of a place or something...
Anyone have a garage they don't want

Hi guys, last time I looked Sydney is about 80km north to south and 70km east to west. It might help if you're a bit more specific about where would be convenient for you.
good luck, Fletty

Hi gents,

Might be an option for some. Especially in a place like Sydney.
Can't see why some locally intereted parties couldn't try something themselves though. Helps to know someone and here's a good place to start...____________________________________________

I really don't care where in *Sydney*, I'd be willing to travel that kinda distance just to be able to have a workshop. Its not like we are really able to choose where we want a workshop due to there been very little about.
I'd put my hand up for almost anything small secure space available.
I found a recent add for a secure workshp area of 31.45 sqm for $95 a week in Carlton.4700mm x 6700mm.

I agree with electric-green, that's enough room for Triton tools.
I have a space 2.4M x 4.2M and it's (just) enough space for the Triton workbench or router table.
I do have a conveniently placed window for those long jobsGeoff

yer perfect space for a WC2000 and maybe a few other bits.. Router table etc... just gotta find someone who's also interested and willing to split the cost... could be a little cramped with 2 people in there but still be ok I reckon.
I only want it for a few hours on weekends.
