XMAS comes early with great service
I finally did it and lashed out and bought a new Festool OF1400. They are on special at Just Tools for $980 including free shipping. Absolute bargain compared to anywhere else I've found.
Now for the amazing part. I placed the order online thursday mourning, I get a message from home friday lunch time, a large package has arrived. It couldn't be... I finally get home at 8:30pm and tear into the packaging and there it is, along with a free 6pack esky and a 2m folding rule, small things maybe, but always exciting to get freebies.(also a hole heap of catalogues).
I still can't believe it got here that quick. Now I just need some time to get out and make some dust.

...let the chips fly.
They are a great router.
Wait till you start looking at some accessories.
The slippery green slope at work.

Is it not amazing how some companies can deliver goods to you faster than you can get to the bank. (My record is order just before 11am and arrive at 1:30pm same day.) Yet other companies, in Australia, take weeks to deliver an order.
Enjoy the router, but hook it up to a dust extractor and keep the dust down.
