YouTube Hunt
I am looking for an elderly English gentleman, perhaps in his 80's who has a channel dealing with hand tools. He did an episode and from memory it dealt with chisels and showed how to size a tenon using a blunt ground back chisel. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Chris. Is this who you are after? I have this tab left open on my tablet so I didn't have to look too hard.

Chris, MA and Paul have all posted on a seemingly intriguing video, but without comment. Intriguing!
Has anyone replicated Mr Carter's technique? Seems both counterintuitive and too good to be true?
Do we change the sub-forem heading from Sharpening to Bluntening?

Tom Fidgen thought it good enough and the comments to his video show many others have used it as well

Scrapers for flattening cast iron blocks are “sharpened” exactly the same as the “blunt” chisel.
