Nice one. I've just subscribed to your channel. Good on you for giving this a go - there aren't many Aussie woodworkers on YouTube (jords wood shop, the wood knight...can't think of anyone else???). This was enjoyable to watch - nice little project

Thanks for subscribing!! And there is really a lack of Aussies, I will DEFINITELY be talking in metric measurements on future videos,

Well done.
One little suggestion is a hand plane might save a bit of work and money with the belt sander.
I know the belts can add up after awhile.

Well done. I've subscribed as well. I love seeing basic tools used. No festool, theodolites, sawstop etc etc. This gives us hobbyists real hope to make quality furniture for minimal cost.

Haha, if Festool want to give me a Donino to use in my videos... I won't be saying no! But I also wouldn't say no to Ozito.
I really want to keep showing people that DIY dummies like me can make something to be proud of. I bought my table saw for $50 off gumtree, yes a jointer and thicknesses would have given me a better result, but that doesn't mean I should wait until I have those to make something like this.

I also love using hardwood and am sick of seeing all those pine 2x4 projects on YouTube... Yuk! This table was made from about $40 worth of hardwood from my local demolition yard (Caylamax recycling at Brendale, Brisbane)

Well, you've started off with a goal kick mate. Down to Earth approach, good quality production, enjoyable to watch, not too long, everything that makes for good YouTube stuff!

Hopefully a few more guys here will sub and like so that you get a bit of exposure.

Great stuff mate well done.

That's how I started out. Actually, I had fewer tools ... made a tablesaw out of an upturned circular saw in a MDF table.

What you need are a couple of handplanes. Get a #7 to help joint the boards and a #4 to smooth ... no more dust!!!
