Blogs
So I see many of you have blogs already and if I was to search through many of the posts here I'm sure we would come up with quite a collection, any chance you want to just make a list of great sites you look at all the time, particulalry in relation to hand tools...

Simonmags,
The library section of this website has a wealth of information, not just blogs. If you are interested in Japanese carpentry (you did post this in the Japanese Hand Tools section) then some of the best reading on the web is here:
the Carpentry Way
This guy knows his stuff and is also in the process of producing carpentry essays with practical exercises (making stuff with wood) to cement the theory.
Let me know what you think.
Cheers

Also,
Getting a little of topic for this forum section, but an excellent blog on western hand tool work is Bob Roziaeski's website. Some outstanding downloadable podcasts that follow whole projects:

Ok - there's some reading to keep you going for a while.

For mostly western hand tool woodworking stuff I often go to The Index of Fossil-Fuel-Friendly Woodworking Knowledge

Thanks guys for the helpful links, I know i have seen one here in this forum somewhere where the guy made some new chisel handles for his Japanese chisels on a bench outside and he could only work when the weather was good
It was a good blog and I liked many of the techniques he used such as sharpening over a mirror using sandpaper etc. Anyway the other blogs you've listed here look great will browse through them and any more that get suggested in the near future. Thanks again
