    Default Does Anybody Know?

    Hello People,
Does anybody know if the Chinese and Mongolian hand saws cut on the pull stroke or the push stroke? I was just wondering.
    THANK YOU

I think the chinese can make almost anything you want and I'm sure a large number of their saws grace our hardware shopsin Oz.

However, if you are referring to their traditional saws, they used a frame saw and I think they cut in the same direction as western saws (on the push stroke). A link for you:

I can't help you with Mongolian saws.
