    Howard it looks like it was part of his Churchill scholarship. I suspect that he wrote this as a kind of thesis and then if you life in the UK you could go to listen him present his experience.

    A very informative an enjoyable read.

    It reminds me of Bernard Leach and his A Potters's Book, published in 1940, which was a major influence on me as a young potter and the nascence of the Japanese influence in my aesthetic.
