Default suitable toishi for Tsubame/Swallow Steel

I am curious if any of you have used planes made with Tsubame or Swallow Steel. What is a good choice of waterstone for this hard blade?

I'm a bit out of date on such matters myself, but expect Stu (Schtoo) will be along soon to give you the best answer you are likely to get.

Until then, here is a relevant blog from Stu on the topic, and his associated blogs here.

If Swallow Steel has a high Tungsten and Chromium content I would treat it as HSS (although it may not be strictly so, depending on percentages); in which case the Sigma Power Select II would be the stone I would opt for, but I defer to Stu's expertise and he may advise otherwise.
