Thread: 3D Drawing Boards.

Hi All,

I would like to chat with anyone who has one of those Australian made 3D sketching boards that enable you to draw just about anything (with a straight line) in very neat 3D and in perfect perspective.
I was given one version of them for my 60th b/day. The version I have is called the Archiboard which apparently is more specifically suited for "interior" work, i.e. sketching kitchens, cupboards and cabinets, etc.
I believe the other version is more adept at drawing buildings and/or house additions, chook sheds and the like.
While I have had a bit of a play around with mine, I have yet to get down and serious with anything in particular, but I definitely have a project in mind.
Along with the board and the accompanying pens and nifty ruler, I also received the CD which is supposed to allow you to be able to set measurements for your perspective sketches.
Trouble being is that the CD is suitable for Windows only and not for my Mac computers.
So, apart from seeing if anyone out there wants this CD, I would also like to discuss some of the aspects relating to the differences between the two designs.
