3D Drawing Boards Part 2
I just wanted to give a big plug to Merrick Russell, the Aussie designer of the 3D Drawing Board design.
The board I was originally given as a B/day pressie by my wife was the 3D Archi Board which was initially wanted so I could attempt to draw and design my own furniture in perspective (something I've always liked doing).
As it turns out, from my initial efforts not being very satisfactory and also, after talking to Merrick personally, he freely offered to exchange my board for the original 3D board at no cost to myself AND he also refunded the cost of the CD for the A/board which enables the "artist" to draw in perspective and do so with correct measurements (a difficult enough concept in itself). Problem being that his CD is for PCs only and I run Mac computers so I even if I had kept the A/board, I still was unable to make use of the CD.
So I returned everything, at his suggestion .......but I put the wrong CD in the return package along with the board and still Mr Russell refunded the cost of the disc even without my returning it, which, obviously I will rectify my mistake.
I just thought that a person who has built a small, self run Australian company and produces such a great product and has such worthwhile work ethics, honesty and a very strong customer satisfaction relationship, deserves a big WELL DONE and all the support we can give to both he and his excellent product.
Cheers,

Glenrob, depending on how old your Mac is and whether it is PPC or Intel - you could run parallels or bootcamp with Windows on it so you could run that software.

Thanks Stewie,
From what little I've read and managed to absorb, they say that Parallels is the better option than Bootcamp.
Might give it a go on my iMac d/top.
Thanks,
Bob
