I added text, but the file was too big to post.

To add 3D text go to Tools>3D Text.

To add plain text for details etc which is not 3D go to Tools>Text.

Above both of those text tools is the dimensions tool, which allows you to pull out the dimensions of any length on the drawing.

Same here, 3D text sticks to an object but ordinary text rotates around the screen.

Here is a Redgum benchtop from an entertainment unit I'm designing at the mo, using real timber grain for the texture. Every single piece of the top is solid and can all be exploded and separated. All so if you wanted, you can print out a scale template of the curved sections.

The grain looks more realistic at higher resolution, but looses quality under the 100k rule.
