Sketchup Used for Office Redesign / DXF export question
Hi, I'm mainly showing off here - below are screen caps of a planned office makeover concept for my work done in sketchup (free version). I have used lots of groups and components and have been quite accurate in placement and dimensioning of the wall panel sections etc. I have found the file management of the components somewhat clumsy, guess they may improve this in future versions.
I do have a serious question - does anyone here use the 'paid' version of sketchup and have you exported a model or component as a DXF file and imported it into a full 3D CAD package such as Autocad or Studioworks? If so, does it work OK or do you encounter problems?Last edited by rhizome; 8th January 2008 at 04:59 PM. Reason: change title
