    Default SketchUp animation video...first crack..

    So I just nutted out how to do basic animation. Don't ask me how to do it, as I only just worked it out myself..All I can say is that its not too hard, but I'm sure it gets harder the more complex you want it and how much clearer you can get it.

    I put it on youtube but its still processing, so hopefully its better quality than this photobucket one that seems to do a good job of trashing video.

    OK, if you go back to my first post I have changed the link to the youtube version and it is better quality.

    I have done another quick one which is much better quality....oh, if you've got a good stereo setup, turn it up . This is fun .

    Im guessin from my plays with it that it has an internal patience required chip inserted eh? I guess youve more patience than I eh I just dont get the thing

    Hi Zen, are you familiar with the plugin Podium?

    The cabinet is actually in a room with 3 walls and a ceiling. To get the soft lighting effect, I added some 'lighting' value to the ceiling surface so it reflected some light to everything below.

    No, I'm not familiar with Podium. Is that what allows you do give objects 'lighting values'?

    Do you use the Pro version of Sketchup or the freebie?
