Drafting table help
Hello,
This is a real wild card, but hoping someone can help me out. I have an Arnal drafting table by Neolt (Italian), probably 20yrs old. I've pulled it apart to modify the height (don't ask!) and due to it being a long term project...something about getting old in there I'm sure...but I'm now having trouble putting it back together. Should have done some step by step sketches as I pulled it apart like I used to as a fitter, or at least taken a photo!!
There are a series of stackable fingers on each side of the main pivot shaft, which lock over a couple of pins, and when compressed by a pedal they lock both the height and tilt. I can't work out if they alternate in direction or half of them sit at 90* to the others.
Bit of a drama to reassemble it all only to find out I've done it wrong....does anyone have access to one for a photo, or suggest where I might go looking for help?
I have emailed the company in Italy, with a translated message, but no response yet.
Thanks,Andy Mac

You probably have it sorted out by now; but if not, consider the superiority of finger joints over half-laps.
