    mix gelled early on me

    some sanding to be done lam1.jpg
    read glassing advice after the fact, ie use 1% mekp for lam coat. (I used 2%)

    used 800 ml resin 10 ml mekp. that's above 1%. for that size board, I would use 900 ml in future. not much wastage.

    still ran out of time.

    Keep strictly to manufacturers mix ratios, and if you feel adventurous, try an epoxy - you can get all different cure rates, but again, stick strictly to the supplied ratios.

    I never really liked using MEKP, but it is cheap and well understood.
    Semtex fixes all

    sanded fibreglass by hand 40-80-120-180-240

    recycled some fins and tacked on with epoxy glue ready for glassing on

    fins attached, sanded to 400 grit. put my name on it.

    Finish coat and leash plug to complete.

    Removing fibreglass from an old board I shaped 10 years ago and reshaping. Going from 8' to 7'.
