The email is going around its a shame John doesn't have a website nor even a computer I spoke to him the other night after finding a document online about him. The amazing thing here is John has Polio is wheelchair bound I have added him to a new blog I created with his permission John Piccoli "The Spanner Man"

I also received it. Amazing stuff. At the Waverley Garden Show in the UK in May there were several "statues" of animals made from car parts such as clutch plates. I will try to put the photos on here later.

From polio when little to loosing his dad young and having to run the family farm with his mum, what a magnificent man and I like the use of the old spanners....

I have seen John scooting around the Bendigo & Ballarat swapmeets buying up boxes of spanners. He told me he welded them up in to sculptures. I never pictured them being of that calibre they are fantastic.

As promised, photos from the Waverley Flower Show in the UK in May of this year. This show was about 10 days before Chelsea Flower Show and was quite large.

Thanks. That's a fantastic body of work and so very consistently done.
Don't know if he has a website, see if you can find the Australian "scrapartoz,"
I've been a great admirer. His works pop up in the Sculpture Community website.
