Made with left over film stock and using the directors own car, all the traffic is real. No closed roads.I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

That wasn't a Ferrari Gra. It was a Mercedes saloon, and the sound was dubbed.

There is some argument over what car it was. The director certainly owned a Ferrari and a Merc at the time. Me, I dont care what the car is, just love the footage. It was an underground film for quite some time for obvious reasons. It was finally released on DVD about 3 or 4 years ago. Before that it was secretly passed around car circles. The director did get into some trouble for it, but not a huge amount as they couldn't prove he was going that fast at the time (70's).
I guess technically it isn't a car chase as there isn't anyone following, but its a great piece of filmI may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Was it "The French Connection" where in the middle of a car chase up a mountain dirt road there was a little car forplay when the yellow Porsche 911 did forward and reverse fkick turns in front of the Alfa MonteCarlo whilst still moving in the same direction? Not putting this chase in for a prize, but it was a nice interlude in the midst of mayhem.
