54 Packard Clipper Deluxe
Have a look at what I followed most of the way to work today. A pristine 1954 Packard Clipper Deluxe. In as new showroom indication.
Have to admit I stole the pics from somewhere else but that's almost the identical vehicle only the one I was following was in better nick.

The one you followed probably had a license plate.

Sure did and wouldn't stop long enough to let me take a photo without getting done for using my mobile phone to do it.
Plates looked to be original also and the back plate which I could see showed the wear of age where the rest of the car didn't and definitely looked original including the really old dude in the wide brimmed hat that was driving it.
