    Default Ford Ranger

They stopped sell Rangers here in the US. If I want a truck with a useable bed height and reasonable size, I can no longer buy a Ford. I am frustrated to learn that you in OZ and much of the rest of the world will be getting the new Ranger. Oh well, Ford has not met my requirements before; they have never sold the 4 door Ranger here.

I'll keep driving my old Toyota until they wake up.

We are well served with The Ford Ranger sized vehicles here in all cab and engine configurations. We pay through the nose for the big Ford, Chev and Dodges here though and very limited availability.

No different here for the "full sized" trucks, the prices are crazy.

I have always used the bed and tail gate of my truck as a job site workbench. The fad of jacking the bigs to a meter high bed height make them totally useless for me.

At 6' tall, I can bearly see over the bed rails, let alone reach over them to grab something from inside.

Sorry, rsser i missed your question.

Ford's first small pickup sold in the US was the Courior. Really a rebadged Mazda. Then they built the Ranger and badge engineered it as a Mazda.

The only smaller trucks available here are from GM (rather a piece of c--p), Toyota, and Nissan. Suzuki markets a badge engineered Nissan.
