    Default Love my van!

    I've never been that emotionally attached to vehicles I've owned, they've always just been transportation. They all got well looked after but that was it.
    (This doesn't apply to motor cycles of course!)

    Today though, I was far happier than I thought I would be to get my Mercedes Sprinter van back from the panel beaters. Still wearing a big grin (me, not the van).

    It was in for an insurance repair to a rear panel and while it was there, I had the whole thing resprayed. Looks like new, even drives like new (well after a Nissan Pulsar for the last two weeks, anything is an improvement).

    Yes bikes are an attachment type thing 2 wheels and open road 1 rider well two if she's cute and hangs on tight.

    Now where's the photos of it all sparkly like.

    Hi Ray,
    Just on two weeks from the day I dropped it off. The repair is top rate. All the little dings and scrapes are gone,, the holes from the long removed awning have been filled, the stone chips on the bonnet are gone and the back doors no longer squeak or rattle thanks to some panel beating on the inside. The only little thing I noticed was that there was some adhesive foam tape (I'm guessing) next to the rear license plate and a small bit of it is still there but over painted.
    Considering what the original condition of the paint after 8 years was and what I ended up paying for a complete respray, I'm happy.

    I promised the sprinter forum that I'd shoot some van #### tomorrow
