    Default Oil for garage

    I have been using car oil to lube the moving parts on our panel garage door. Is this ok, or is there something better?

    Consult the maker of the door for maintenance information. Generally most I have seen and installed say "do not oil".

    NEVER OIL A PANEL OR ROLLER DOOR

    Teflon spray is the recommended lubrication
    The person who never made a mistake never made anything
