    Default Panel beater suggestion

I hope this is the right forum to ask this question.
I'm in need of a reliable panel beater anywhere around Melbourne area.

I have been happy with Inkerman Panels in St Kilda. I have had both insurance work and private done.

When was the last time that you had your car repaired?
Their web site is not accessible, it says "not found" but a quick search on Google took me to amagroupsolutions.com.au

Hossack Smash Repairs in Sussex St, Nth Coburg have been around for a long time and I believe it is now second generation.
My daughter has used them twice (both times because of others damaging her car) in last 12 months or so and been very happy. They looked after her very well including the insurance, etc. We had used them also a few years ago and were satisfied then.

    Hope that helps

That's not too far from my place, thanks for suggestion.
They don't have an online claim procedure so I'll need to go there and check.
I had bad experience with mechanics because they were good the first time then staff changed and they became very very bad.
I'm not saying this is the case of Hossack so lets see and hope.

Edit: They only deal through insurance companies so since I'm uninsured they cannot service my car.

Probably have not been there for a few years but my son would have been there in the last twelve months for a quote. I found the amagroupsolutions web site just now to be not user friendly.

The web site looks more like a referral platform, not my kind.

A few years ago, we used a panel shop in Matthews Ave, Airport West. The guy (Mal ??) there was good and it was not an insurance job. We have since moved from that area and I cannot remember the name but it is a yellow building on the opposite corner to Budget rentals. There are a lot of Panel Beaters along and around that area so you should be able to find one that will suit.

    Collision Craft in Moorabbin.

I had a full detail done by them a couple of years ago and recently sent a mate there for a full respray, both cars came back looking like they just drove off the dealer lot.

Send an enquiry but I don't like their "luxury" service, let's wait for the quote

Definitely not the cheapest place around, but, IMO, the quality of work is worth the premium

You need to decide on a balance of convenience, cost and quality along with being comfortable with the staff you deal with.
The cheapest may not be the best, nor the most expensive. Hope you have a successful search.
