Some pictures from Speed on Tweed 2006
Speed on Tweed is an annual event where vintage and classic cars are not only on display, they do hot laps around a short street circuit, you get to wander around in the 'garages' and talk to drivers and look at the cars.

Edited to add: Tweed Valley Woodcrafters make the trophies for this event, last year it was scroll sawed Speed On Tweed mounted onto Red Cedar, this year they made Wooden Spark plugs out of teak & cedar. Will try to get some picsLast edited by Cruzi; 19th August 2007 at 01:04 PM. Reason: More Info

some great pics thanks for posting those Cruzi
I spent time doing restorations at a museum in Sydney now long gone Greens Motorcade.
some facinating vehicles there it has since sold of and cars are now all over the world.
