Just recently bought this
When i've been out and about with the camera i've often thought if i had an old 4x4 i could venture further afield.
I bought this on a whim and a lot of talking by a friend with a Nissan Patrol 6 seater.
Now i think it's too good to take off road. I will eventually, i know i will.

Fred normally at your age people are buying one of these little red beauties.
Tp get out and about in the bush for photography they do have the black one.
Fred she looks well taken care off or restored, that Bull bar isn't going to move to easy thats for sure.

Wow is it new or is this a pix from an old brochure?
As long as the rest is as good all over you have done very well. No heading for the bush, it might get scratched !

Sorry Fred but I couldn't resist my little project. Its a 1983 model, I'm her 3rd owner. Its got 408,000 km. I have had it for 23 years so with the new paint I am going to make sure it sees me out. Behind is my ever faithful 10 X 5 tandem that can bring home what ever fits. (Whether I need it or not (yes I'm a hoarder))
Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

We have 2 LWB Patrols, one as old as yours and has never missed a beat, went to the Kimberleys and back with a caravan, back through Hells Gate.
We busted a fanbelt in the Kimberleys, local garage didn't have a spare.
"Don't carry spares for Nissans, they never break down. I have lots of Toyota parts though"
The new (to us) is a 2005 maroon, of course Qld colour, hasn't been off road as yet.
Enjoy your Patrol.
Cheers
