Removing small concrete spatter spots from vehicle paint.
A few years ago we had new concrete crossover put in and unbeknownst to me at the time a half dozen concrete spatter spots <1cm in diameter ended upon the back of my Hiace van which was parked nearby. I only noticed them a few weeks later (my Van is pretty dirty) when they had set as hard was - concrete. I tried scratching one off with a bit of wood but all that did was left scratches in the pint so I left then there until this morning when I had bright idea.
I made some little "pocket dams" up out of gaffer tape around each spot and filled the dams with ordinary vinegar. Nothing happened for the first 20 minutes but then with a few minutes of light stippling using small bevel liner brush it started to come off - I changed the vinegar out 3 times and repeated the stippling and it was all off in about an hour with no visible paint damage.
Now there are two spots on the caravan to remove.
