    I am currently driving my third - a 2004 Outback 2.5Litre.

I previously had a 1992 Liberty which I ran on my business and turned it in on a 1994 Liberty which I passed down to my daughter 4 years ago and we have just traded it in after 280,000 Km.

Never had any major problems although the 1994 was starting to develop some.

They drive well and the Outback particularly is very comfortable on long trips.

I think there was a thread some time ago on this subject so a search may reveal more
